How We Work
Our Approach
Our approach is individualised. No two conditions are the same because no two people are the same. We have developed a Work-Conditioning model that impacts several areas of an individual’s wellness. Many practitioners make the mistake of concentrating the intervention on the diagnosis.
There are so many Biopsychosocial factors that can impact recovery and potentially become roadblocks that this approach is prone to failure. Our Exercise Physiologists are trained to assess the potential impact of negative BPS factors and co-design strategies with the customer to ensure they do not disrupt the momentum of the Work Conditioning process.
Through our time in Life Insurance, we have crafted an industry specific operating platform. Whilst it is constantly evolving, our unique Assessment and program design protocols define a clear path to outcome allowing us to provide detailed updates along the journey in relation to bridging specific functional deficits.
Unique Solutions to Complex Conditions
While comorbidities are often present at the claim submission, the waiting periods in Life Insurance and Income Protection insurance give opportunity for secondary factors such as psychological overlays and chronic pain behaviours to develop. Our consultants have the knowledge and experience to skillfully negotiate comorbid factors and keep the wheels turning towards a return to work.
Our recruiting process is designed to find consultants at the top of their game that are looking for challenges and thrive where complex problem solving is required. A significant factor in choosing a new consultant to add to our network is assessing their ability to “think outside the box” and devise novel and engaging ideas to assist your customers.
Whether the desired outcome requires impacting cognitive function, overcoming remote locations and access issues or leveraging a customer’s penchant for video games, our consultants have the perceptual ability, interpersonal skills and the ‘smarts’ to find out what makes a person “tick” and use that to assist them.
